JBerk Travel is run by an independent travel agent that is owner-operated. The travel agency is an independent travel agent through KHM Consulting, Inc., however this position is not affiliated with KHM Consulting, Inc. JBerk Travel has over 10 years in travel booking experience across various types of travel and countries! Very laid back environment, all work from home or anywhere, and you earn when you want to sell! I/we do not set any individual sales goals, however, as agency, if we hit goals, we can unlock additional perks such as FAM Trips or higher commissions.
About the Role❓
JBerk Travel is looking to bring on an enthusiastic, driven individual to join our team as a Sub-Agent/Travel Planner. This is a commission-based role where earnings are directly tied to sales, allowing you to maximize your income based on your performance. As a 1099-C Contractor, you will be an independent sub-agent representing JBerk Travel, selling a range of travel services, including cruises, all-inclusive vacations, Disney experiences, luxury vacations, and cost-effective travel options. This role is not salaried or hourly, and as such, your income potential is uncapped, depending solely on your sales.
Responsibilities 📋
- Actively seek new clients and build your own customer base to drive travel bookings and sales.
- Plan, organize, and book various travel experiences based on client preferences and budgets, including cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Disney vacations, luxury trips, and budget-friendly options.
- Stay updated on industry trends and offers to best advise clients on destinations, packages, and unique travel experiences.
- Ensure accuracy in booking details (e.g., client names, travel dates, document requirements).
- Represent JBerk Travel professionally and courteously to all clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Enter all customer information, bookings, and commissions in JBerk Travel’s Tracking System & CRM to ensure accurate compensation and record-keeping.
-Maintain all client confidential information appropriately with care and security and within Policy Laws and requirements. Maintain compliance with all PCI Compliance when dealing with client payments.
Qualifications 📃
- Proven Sales Ability: Success in sales or customer service is beneficial, with a strong drive to build a client base and convert leads into bookings.
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Thrives in a remote, commission-only role where income is driven by sales performance.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and trust with clients, providing them with valuable insights and travel advice.
- Attention to Detail: Accurately handle travel details, from booking specifics to travel documentation.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment where client demands and industry trends change frequently.
- Customer-Focused: Passionate about helping clients create memorable travel experiences, prioritizing their needs, preferences, and budget.
Position Requirements ✅
- Client Acquisition: Must be able to generate your own leads and bring in new clients, as JBerk Travel may not always have customer referrals available.
- Work-from-Home Setup: Must have a PC or MAC computer or other device compatible with opening, editing, and creating word documents and PDFs; as well as various websites including social media, with reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace. No equipment is provided.
- Training: Overall Travel Sales Training will be provided through self-paced resources, with additional hands-on support in booking and learning as needed. Each supplier also offers their own training and is at the discretion of candidate to complete those as needed. Some supplier trainings are required!

-Earn up to free trips (FAM Trips) available once the agency hits certain sales goals! We will discuss how this works in full.
Commission Rate & Information 💵
-You earn commission at the rate of 70% of the amount JBerk Travel's Projected Commission is per booking, in most cases.
-There may be times in which a Statement of Work (SOW) will be issued for varied commission from this (eg. split commissions).
-We will discuss how commissions works in full should you be selected for an interview.
